About
the paper

Dexium Labs is an independent app studio. We build a small number of sharp, opinionated apps and hold each one to an uncomfortable standard.

Who we are

We started with Italy — decoding the everyday scams and confusions travelers hit — and we're building outward from there, one opinionated product at a time.

We're a lean, independent operation, which is exactly why the work stays coherent. When we take on a problem, one team owns it end to end, from the camera to the copy. Nobody hands the interesting part to someone who doesn't care.

What follows are the house rules — the standards we hold in public, because a studio is only as good as the line it refuses to cross.

The house rulesHeld in public
  1. Opinion

    We take a side.

A neutral app is a forgettable one. Every product we make has a stance about how the problem should be solved — and it shows in the first ten seconds.

  2. Honesty

    We'd rather say “I don't know.”

Especially where being wrong is expensive. A confident hallucination is a bug we treat as critical, not a rounding error.

  3. Craft

    We finish the last 10%.

The motion, the copy, the empty states, the refusal screens. The parts most people skip are the parts we care about most.

  4. Restraint

    Fewer apps, made better.

We ship one thing at a time and give it our full attention. Scale comes from quality compounding, not from a crowded roadmap.

Colophon

Small studio. Sharp catalog.

When we take on a problem, one team owns it end to end. If you've got one worth an app's worth of care, we'd like to hear it.
